What we do
We offer material and practical support to the following groups of people:
- institutionalised children and young people, particularly those living in the state run apartment complexes in Dorohoi, where there is an ongoing need to finance medication, dental work, ophthalmic care, educational resources and opportunities, summer camps, clothing, footwear, toiletries etc.
- young people leaving the state care system, needing help to find work and accommodation as well as practical support in their daily lives;
- children and young people with life threatening illnesses, including AIDS, TB and various forms of cancer;
- single mothers and young families endeavouring to raise their children in basic conditions with very low incomes.
