The Big Swim
What a great event, everybody did so well. No accidents, injuries or paramedics!! We have calculated that we have raised over £1000. Fantastic, what a boost to the funds. Well done everybody for taking part, sponsoring and supporting.

Coffee morning in Stafford went well, with a steady stream of customers. The Team raised just under £170.
Guess the number of balloons in a VW Beetle on Saturday raised £80.
'The Seighford Festival' on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June went really well. Guess the number of balloons in a VW Beetle on Saturday raised £80. Sylvia and Team raised a fantastic £610 selling cakes, fruit, plus teas and coffees, absolutely brilliant.
The Beatless night
What a fantastic night was had by all at the Beatless night. The Beatless are a very talented group who entertained us and brought back all sorts of memories. A amazing night of fun that raised in excess of £600, wow!
QCDA Colleagues have managed to raise lots of money for Light for Children over the years. This year has been no exception. Tom Cheers and Stuart Mepham completed a sponsor walk this summer along some of Coastal paths in the North East. You can see from the racing stance they have been training endlessly. They raised in excess of £580, fantastic.
The CSO team also had an auction which Jugjit Chima presided over. The monies raised from this were shared between two charities Light for Children being one of them. £260 was gratefully received.

The CRES group of Churches had a garden party in the summer.
They raised an amazing amount of money, in excess of £700. A fantastic day was had by all. You can see that great discussions took place, which cake should I have next!
Brian and Shirley held a garden party in Chasetown, the weather looked as if it was going to change and spoil the event, but if fact it turned out to be a lovely afternoon. The garden party raised over £300. Absolutely brilliant.
Shirley deserves a rest after such a busy afternoon.

SAD Group (Seighford Amateur Dramatics).
This year saw the amazing production of SAD's panto. The panto was written by Rob Johns and performed by Seighford folk. All involved from actors, actresses and audiences alike enjoyed the wonderful experience of the show. The performances raised an amazing £2500.

Gateway Singers Concert at St John's Community Church
The Gateway Singers came and entertained us in June, an excellent evening was had by all. A total of £595 was raised by ticket sales and donations. Yvonne Marklew raised money through cards sales on the night and a donation was given to support the work Helen is doing in Romania. Thanks so much for your support.
